Thank you for your interest in the It's Vegalicious Vegan Recipe Scholarship for the 2010-2011 school year. The program features a grand prize of $5,000 to be used towards the winner's education. The contest is open to Seniors enrolled in a Broward, Miami-Dade or Palm Beach County High School for the 2010-2011 school year. Contestants must create an original vegan recipe for a soup, appetizer, salad, dessert or entree. The recipe, a photo of the prepared dish and a completed entry form must be submitted on or before April 15, 2011. Three finalists will be selected to prepare their dishes for a judging and awards ceremony on May 1, 2011. The finalists will each receive a $100 gift card from Whole Foods Market to be used for materials for their contest entry. Runners-up will each receive a $500 gift card from Sublime Restaurant to be used towards their graduation dinner.
